Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. 
天才是百分之一的靈感加上百分之九十九的努力。 
As Thomas Edison said, 「Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.」

愛迪生曾說：「天才是百分之一的靈感加上百分之九十九的努力。」

However clever you are, you will achieve nothing unless you work hard.

不管你多聰明，不努力是不會成功的。

For example, you cannot only depend on your intelligence to pass an exam. You have to study hard or you'll fail no matter how smart you are. 

譬如說，考試若想及格，不僅只依賴聰明才智，還得用功才行，否則不管你多聰明仍會考不及格。

Indeed, success doesn't come without hard work. 
的確，不努力就不會成功。
